| The Blairgowrie Golf Club were proud to have had Jessie Valentine MBE (1915-2005) as a distinguished member, and she was conferred Honorary Membership in 1968. Her record is second to none in British Amateur golf, and the club is proud to have the new Dining Room named in her honour. She was inducted into the Scottish Sports Hall of Fame in 2003.
