Final STRI Agronomy Report on the Golf Course
As has been common at all golf courses throughout Scotland, the weather over winter and into the spring has been extremely difficult to cope with. Long periods of lying snow cover and low temperatures has extensively damaged many courses and this has been difficult to recover due to the cold and dry conditions in spring, night frost being a common occurrence until quite recently. All three courses have had some form of damage and this is reviewed within this report along with greens, pests, disease, dry patch, moss, maintenance, nutrition and individual items.
