Dress Code

Blairgowrie Golf Club is a Private Members Club which prides itself on traditions.  Guests to Blairgowrie are requested to respect the rules of the Club and are advised that smart casual dress is expected at all times.  Shirts with collar and sleeves must be worn within the waistband of trousers, blue denim jeans and trainers are not permitted on the courses or within the Clubhouse. Tailored shorts are not permitted in the Restaurant. Spikes are allowed anywhere in the Clubhouse apart from the restaurant and lounge/bar area.  Mobile phones are not permitted in the Clubhouse. 

Members, guests and temporary members will only be allowed to use the club’s facilities if they are suitably dressed. the acceptable level of dress at all times throughout the clubhouse and courses is smart casual.

The following are unacceptable:
t. shirts, vests,football & rugby shirts and shorts, track and shell suits, blue denim jeans and trainers.

Shorts
Shorts are not allowed in the restaurant.

Golf shoes
Golf shoes are not allowed in the lounge or restaurant.

Stocking footwear
Not allowed anywhere in the building.

Headware
No headwear in the club.

Shirts
Shirts must not be worn over trousers.

This code will be strictly applied and anyone not complying will be asked to leave the premises.
