Can you break 80 ?
The Lansdowne Championship
Course (designed by Peter Alliss and Dave Thomas) is part of The Blairgowrie Golf
Club complex, home to the famous Rosemount Course. The Lansdowne
Course record is currently held by The Blairgowrie Golf Club’s own
Glenn Campbell (Scottish Amateur Internationalist and 2005 Champion) with a 64 gross +
3 = 67 net. At a par of 72 and a SSS 73 we would like to challenge
any visiting golfers to play off The Lansdowne Course’s medal tees
and score gross 79 or less. As a prize for achieving this feat the
individual will be invited to play the course again for free.
A handicap of 12 or under is
required to take the Lansdowne Challenge.
A minimum booking of 3
players per tee time is required to take the Challenge.
Names of players taking the
Challenge must be given to Reception before commencement of the
round.
May to September 2007 £40.00 per
person
